Creativity Will Make Your Blog Boom!

I just checked out JohnChow.com and found that his most recent post is a video feed from SuzanneFranco.com.  The point of the video and the post is to gain readership for her RSS feed to secure a spot as the next Blogging Idol.  Now, I’d never heard of Blogging Idol, but appears to be quite an honor to be named.  Regardless, Suzanne’s creativity and charisma definitely impressed me.  I can tell from the number of comments that others also took notice.

The lesson to take away from this?  Think creatively and don’t be afraid to ask someone for help.  You want to get their attention, but in a good way.  Think outside of the box and you never know who will be willing to help you on your quest for greatness.

Check out this video that’s posted on JohnChow.com and let me know what you think?  Best of luck Suzanne!!!

Hey Rachel ~ Thanks for the kudos! I am having so much fun with this contest … and, yes, I really do want to win. It’s important to me … but I think it’s even more important to my kids … they’re convinced that I’m going to take this thing and I don’t want to let them down.

I also want them to know that even if you know less … or have less than others … if you work hard and really put your mind to it … you stand a chance.

Thank you so much for your support … it means the world to me … let me know if there’s anything I can do to return the favor. *SmiLes* Suzanne

Rachel,

I usually can’t seem to find the patience to sit through a video-log, but I watched this one.

You’re right, she is a hoot. I love that she included the out-takes.

Yep, don’t be afraid to just get right out there and ask for help. I know it’s an antiquated term these days, but truly, thinking outside the box can be a great thing.

Thanks for putting this out there!

George

What a great marketing idea…wish I would have thought of Blog Idol. This is a great example of getting creative to get your blog some exposure.

Yay for Suzanne. I just met her online last week and now she is everywhere I turn. She must be doing something right. :-)

Well of course I will have to stop by suzannefranco.com now that I’ve seen that video. great idea. I just don’t have that creative flair some people do. darn it!

Totally agree with you. I have been to her site and registered. She has the creativity and determination! I am confident she will get exactly what her goal is. :)
