I hope that everyone had a great holiday!  Here’s another addition or the Weekend WrapUp where I like to spotlight some of my favorite reads from around the web during the previous week.  I hope you enjoy these 5 and have a great weekend!

    This is a great article that provides some resources for finding social sites that utilize the “Do-Follow” function when leaving links in comments.  I’ll be the first to admit that I’m relatively “green” when it comes to building links for SEO purposes using this strategy, but plan to learn more.
  • Not Doing What You Love, Pathway to Business Success- by BusinessX
    If you follow my blog on a regular basis then you know my belief in blogging with passion and about what you love.  You also know I don’t think it’s always roses;  this article hits that point right on the head.  This is a fun read relating work to the things you like or love.  I can relate to this post and you might as well!
  • Passion Vs. Demand When Choosing a Blog Topic - by Steven Sanders
    If you’re looking to start a new blog or simply branch out and add another blog to your current portfolio, then here’s a good article when trying to decide on a blog focus.  Steven give some good detail and simple steps to follow that will help insure your success!

    Don’t sell yourself (or your business) short by not marketing properly. Check out this article by Zach for some tips on how to effectively self-promote. Anyone can be their own PR Rep!
  • How Do You Analyze Your Blog? - by BloggerNewbie
    Dee of BloggerNewbie explains how she uses different analytical tools to assess her site and traffic.  Check out her suggestions to analyze your site too!  Knowing your audience fits in nicely with Zach’s article about marketing yourself as well.  If you effectively analyze and know your blog audience, you’ll be that much more successful when it comes to marketing yourself.
